Whether you are in search of a bottomless brunch, (or quite the opposite) -a healthy detox catch up with friends, or if it is the morning after the night before and you are in much need of 'the cure', Dublin's brunch scene is evolving and now caters for our assorted needs. This post is dedicated to all things Breakfast/Brunch and Lunch in the capital. I have summarised my absolute faves (in no particular order) Happy Munching Peeps xx

(Not the Bob Dylan Classic) but an understated little café tucked off busy Camden Street offering eggs every which way and plenty of healthy options too. This is one of my absolute favorite little brunch spots in Dublin.

Location: 50 Pleasants St, Saint Kevin's, Dublin 8, Ireland

A cosy neighbourhood café, no frills or fuss, just deliciously homemade recipes. Specialising in lunch and brunch. Be prepared to queue at weekends.

Location: 14b Emorville Avenue, Dublin 8, Ireland

Where to go for Brunch near Portobello, Dublin

Such a popular little brunch / coffee spot for tourists and locals alike, they opened a second café in South Dublin so now patrons both side of the river can enjoy! A warm welcome and hearty food guaranteed at this little gem.

Location(s): 153 Capel St Dublin 1 and 46 Harrington Street Dublin 8

Not your traditional brunch menu, but innovative and exciting food, paired with a bottomless cocktail offering in the heart of busy Temple Bar. A Good option for hair of the dog or if you are dining a bit later in the day – try their #notafternoontea

Location: 6-8 East Essex St,Temple Bar, Dublin 2

Less is more in this north Dublin neighbourhood café. Minimalist vibes with an emphasis on great coffee the weekend brunch menu is a real crowd pleaser with everything from chilli eggs to a ricotta hotcake you won’t be disappointed.

Location: 375 North Circular Road, Dublin 7

Angelina's, a modern Italian-style restaurant, I wouldn't have associated with a good brunch, as I had only been for dinner on numerous occasions (and they smashed it every time) but I was skeptical about their brunch offering at first. But nope, they are actually ticking all the boxes. For me personally, their extensive Brunch offering (with a lot of Mashed Avocado featuring) has everything I would look for in a Brunch Range. You can have your eggs every which way, you can have your healthy porridge (if you are that way inclined) and you can have everything in between. They serve up Bloody Mary's for anyone needing the cure, or for if you are just starting off your Saturday afternoon there are plenty of mimosa's to go around. Grab your girls, book your booth and get celebrating. Even if not an occasion - if you made it through a tough work we Mon-Fri we have everything to celebrate come Saturday!

Location: No.55 Percy Place, Dublin 4

I am a lobster fiend so this place absolutely floats my boat (excuse the pun).

This no-frills Irish restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar serve up all the regular brunch crowd pleasers but with the added bonus option of indulging in some seafood (Lobster and Prawn Fritters to start or the Lobster Roll - to die for!) You can also have Surf and Turf to chase your eggs if you wanted to make a real feast out of it. And the best part - they host a bottomless brunch every Friday through Sunday with two hours of unlimited Mimosas or Belini's.

Location: 39-40 Parliament St,Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

The Brasserie, at Dublin's 5-Star Marker Hotel is offering a novelty Hybrid option of Drunch) between Lunch and Dinner) on Sunday afternoons equipped with DJ and Brunch Cocktails. If you fancy a lazy Sunday afternoon, this would definitely be a Sunday well spent. French Toast was my go to on the menu. The Marker also has a great rooftop terrace for Summer Months where you can soak up the atmosphere of Grand Canal Dock.

Location: Square, Docklands, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin Docklands, Dublin 2
