With over 400 miles of Cornish Coastline it would be rude to go all the way to stunning Cornwall and not try its exquisite seafood restaurants dotted along the coast. Seafood is a local delicacy in Cornwall, from the fish and chip shops on Padstow pier to Rick Stein's finest. For those of you who don't know Rick Stein, he is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur and television presenter well known for his acclaimed seafood restaurants. If you have ever been to Cornwall you will know we are spoiled for choice when it comes to dining so I have summarized my faves so you don't have to do the research yourselves. You can thank me after when you are chowing down on that Halibut and gazing out to the deep blue...
The Seafood Restaurant, Padstow
Speaking of Rick Stein, this restaurant was one of his first opened in 1975, is now an institution in Cornwall, internationally recognised for its fresh seafood dishes and a firm favourite amongst visitors to the Padstow area. Booking in advance is essential, I would recommend getting a seat / table at the seafood bar and watch the talented chefs in action.

Prawn on the lawn, Padstow
A little seafood bar and restaurant located in seafood haven - Padstow serving fish-Style tapas dishes and small sharing plates. This husband and wife team has nailed in my my opinion, offering fresh catch of the day so the menu changes daily. Win win win.

Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen, Port Isaac
Located in a 15th-century fisherman’s cottage overlooking Port Isaac Harbour, this the perfect location for a fish supper.

The Fish House, Newquay
With Stunning Views across Fistral beach and only a stones throw from the shore, this setting makes for a perfect romantic evening. Famous for its shellfish, if you cant make up your mind try the seafood sharing platter.

The Cove, Falmouth
Seafood and Serenity is what to expect at this restaurant nestled away by Maenporth Beach with stunning views across Falmouth Bay. The seafood linguine is the dream.

Harbour Fish & Chips, St Ives
This casual seafood restaurant overlooking St. Ives Harbour is a local favourite for your no frills beer-batterd fish and chips. Get your fish supper to go but be warned the seagulls are unforgiving!
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Port Isaac
The second of celebrated chef, Nathan Outlaw's restaurants to make my hit list, you will know why as soon as you set eyes on this restaurant. With unparalleled views of the Cornish Coastline and a stunning 6-course set seafood menu with optional wine pairings - this is my ideal dining experience.

Hooked on the Rocks, Falmouth
Built into the rocks as the name suggests, Hooked ticks all the boxes - serving up award winning seafood dishes plucked from the ocean backdrop and inspired by the Cornish Coastline. Order the Lobster all the way!

The Mariners, Rock
Part of the Paul Ainsworth Consortium, The Mariners Pub & Restaurant was relaunched in 2019 with stunning waterside views, local craft beer and Cornish mussels and oysters this makes for a perfect relaxed afternoon.
Beck's Fish and Chips, Carbis Bay
Located near picturesque Carbis Bay in St. Ives, Becks Fish and Chips is another favourite with locals and tourists a like for their fish supper. No frills, casual dining, delicious.
